“Death and Life are in the Power of the Tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21 informs us of a spiritual law that few Christians have a grasp on. This scripture is perhaps one of the most powerful and awesome scriptures in the Bible. Its implication is staggering to our minds when we realize that GOD HAS PUT WHETHER WE SUCCEED OR FAIL IN LIFE INTO OUR OWN HANDS THROUGH THE WORDS OF OUR MOUTHS. According to this statement (Proverbs 18:21), we have the authority to speak life and success, or death and defeat to our lives……….it’s all up to us!

Because there are opposing spiritual forces surrounding us that are continuously attempting to make God’s Word ineffective, the manifestation of what we have prayed for and believe God for may take some time. It is what we say and how we act during this interim period that gives impetus to our faith for either victory or defeat.

According to Romans 12:3, every Christian Believer, upon becoming born again, is dealt a measure of faith, but it is up to the individual to develop that faith into a viable force.

Although faith comes by REPEATELY HEARING THE WORD(Romans 10:17), and is developed by putting the word into action, we must make sure that we, to do the best of our ability, are living in line with the bible.
