Acerca del libro
Stay… is a quiet documentary portrait project exploring the emotional space between hope and uncertainty.
Photographed at large-scale adoption events throughout Los Angeles, these images bear witness to rescue dogs waiting behind cages and temporary enclosures, surrounded by noise and movement, yet suspended in stillness.
Some will be chosen. Others will be passed by. For a few, this moment may be the last time they see the outside world.
There are no names. No captions. No outcomes.
The photographs refuse resolution, asking viewers to sit, and stay, with the discomfort of not knowing.
Part photography book, part meditation on waiting, Stay… is a record of lives hoping to be seen.
