I have lived in a small community for 37 years in rural King County in the state of Washington. I am a graduate of the University of Washington. I am married and have 8 children and 5 grandchildren. I have embraced life with my children allowing me to grow and learn. I have been a room mother, Cub Scout leader, Scout committee chairperson, Asst. Scout Master and a 4H leader. I have been a Citizen activist in land use and was instrumental in the development of a major Park in a co-operative effort of three different sports entities. I have taught Sunday school and been in Church leadership. I have been a business owner and now partner with my husband in an Engineering firm. My personal interests are sewing, gardening and photography. Photography records history it tells a story documenting a place in time. It can capture emotion and beauty to live on for others to share. It can capture tragedy that calls for a response. That is why I do books for family and friends.
