Mining towns and alpine passes. Slot canyons and mesa overlooks. Crested cliffs and sandstone arches. The American Southwest offers a glimpse into the beauty crafted by its designer that allows us to explore it and find endless wonder and wisdom in its consumption.

This photographic tribute recounts a journey through this territory taken during the summer of 2012, often taking you where many feet have stepped, but also covers the beauty of what few have ever sought to explore. In the planning, it was a vacation, but in retrospect, it was a pilgrimage -- an impromptu homage that allowed the travellers to experience a journey filled with fear, joy, uncertainty and solace.

While now safely home, the journey isn’t over. For as we know, these are all pilgram days indeed.
