“In the age of selfies, Instagram and preset filters, many do not consider photographs to be art. My work attempts to change that.

By focusing on landscapes, nature and the elements, I try to capture and convey the subtler hues, tones, objects and details that may not be obvious to the naked eye or the casual passer-by.

The scenes are best viewed as slices of life and left to the interpretation of the observer to make of them what they wish. Art should never impose itself but should speak directly to the heart and emotions.”– Ulrick Lawrence
