Although Point Reyes National Seashore is located less than one hour driving time from San Francisco, it seems light years away from the Bay Area Metropolis. It is home to many species of mammals, birds and marine life in additional to dramatic landscapes.

In spring the wildflowers of Chimney Rock and Abbotts Lagoon provide a carpet of color including yellow of Poppies, purple of Iris, red of Indian Paintbrush, pink of Checkers, and blue of Lupin.
