This publication is a collaborative artist book created by the participants and presented as part of Tête à Tête: 2011-12 VANS Mentorship Program Exhibition at the Port Loggia gallery from August 1-19, 2012. The book and exhibit feature artists: Anne Macmillan, William Robinson, Natalie Boterman, Peter Dykhuis, Robert Bean and Ariella Pahlke.



The book documents the collaborative project facilitated by artist and curator Christof Migone during the VANS Mentorship Program Retreat at the Ross Creek Centre for the Arts March 9-11, 2012. The two-day retreat intensive enhanced the mentorship experience through group discussion, collaboration, the sharing of resources and critical reflection of the artist’s practice in a supportive environment. The collaborative project illustrates the attempt to sustain several non-verbal conversations simultaneously between the program participants.
