Living in Northwest Indiana, the landscape and weathered structures can seem very ordinary but they are also very beautiful. I enjoy photographing natural landscapes with large objects being the subject. My main focus in photographing these images is a symmetrical balance that is aesthetically pleasing to me. I used a monochrome black and white tone to evoke nostalgia about these places.
