Verses Magazine is a creative print project that considers creative vocabulary and intentional curation in our magazine and zines. Each issue takes a single word or phrase and explores it with a curious sensibility. Past projects include Ghost, Piece of Cake, Looking Glass, Nightlight, and Garden. Ultimately, Verses hopes to showcase experimental work from people of diverse backgrounds, promoting the power of art and words in tangible form. Submissions are open to people of all ages, locations, and experiences—we strive to foster a place for emerging and experienced artists where creative exploration is celebrated.
