For just over two weeks in May 2019, I visited the Italian cities of Florence, Rome, Siena, Pitigliano, and Pompeii. Most of my time was spent with Rabbi Paul Kipnes, Cantor Doug Cotler, our guide Lana Zilberman Soloway, and fellow members of our Congregation Or Ami. My spiritual and musical journey was my third with Rabbi Paul (Israel, April 2015 and Cuba, May-June 2017), and my second with Cantor Doug and Lana (Israel, April 2015).
