This book is named after the artist Mengmei Pan, which includes some of the artists’ work from 2016 to 2019. The content shows Mengmei Pan’s investigation in the fields of sound art, photography, and video installation in chronological order. The main part of the book describes the development of Mengmei Pan’s long-term project Sound Notes. With this important example, the book tells Mengmei Pan’s consideration of the relationship between sound and still/moving image, as well as the process of their combination. In addition, projects like “Invisible Cover,” “Window Show” in this book also clarify the artist’s working style of using multiple forms and techniques to express her points.
