I have had a lifetime interest in photography. I started with developing and printing my own Black and White images. I evolved through the colour slide era to Cibachrome prints. I am now addicted to Digital photography and produce fine art ink jet prints in Black and White and Colour. In the summer of 2008 I began printing on canvas. I am now able to reproduce any of my images on this medium. I attended the LensWork workshop on Photographic Projects in 2008 with Brooks Jensen and Huntington Witherill. This workshop has stimulated me to adopting a more focussed approach to my photography. To improve my appreciation of art and composition, I have studied Graphic Design and Abstract Painting for the last two years. My work is now in transition, seeking new directions and is exciting and challenging for me. My prints are shown in many galleries on the Island. For several years I taught both Black and White and Digital photography at North Island College in Courtenay.
