I have photographed wildlife and wilderness landscapes in the valleys of Yellowstone, the canyons of Utah, the marshlands of Florida, the Maine North Woods, the Pennsylvania Wilds, and throughout the American and Canadian Rockies--22 states and 4 Canadian provinces in all--for more than 40 years. I live in the backwoods of New York State's Southern Tier, far from the concrete canyons of Manhattan, where I also focus on the Finger Lakes Region and the Adirondack North Country. I'm an award-winning member of the New York State Outdoor Writers Association and my images have been published in books, magazines and newspapers. If I can spend a day in the woods and bring back one excellent photo--whether it's a chipmunk or a moose--then I've had a good day!
