The "opposite island" is for the inhabitants of Paros the island of Antiparos. "Anti" referring to the opposite. But why this title to this series of paintings? The reason is simple: many of the paintings in this book will be exhibited at the "Anti" gallery located on the island of Antiparos from August 27 to September 15, 2019.

The series of paintings in this book was made in my studio in Paros. I started it in August 2018 and continued in the spring and even early summer of 2019. On canvas, on paper, on MDF. From smaller sizes (40x40) to larger ones (120x120). Often square sizes but not always.
