Lakisha Holley was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. She is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, niece and friend. These are all titles she cherishes dearly. Lakisha’s educational background is nursing and social work. She has a license in Practical Nursing, BA in Social Work, MA in Community Counseling and a certification in Marriage and Family Counseling. Lakisha spent her later years working wholeheartedly in the foster care system. After developing a heart for children placed in foster care, Lakisha and her husband decided to become foster parents. Lakisha enjoys reading novels and recently developed a passion for writing. Lakisha also has a strong love for greeting cards which prompted her to begin her own line of greeting cards, Holley Hearts.
