Creative Connections took place over two settings; the BAME Health and Wellbeing Hub and Wykebeck Valley Road Day Centre. Both centres support older people with Wykebeck specialising in supporting people living with dementia. We worked with three artists throughout this project, taking inspiration from Kandinsky, Klee and Miro as well as the Himalayan Fashion Exhibition at Lotherton Hall. This publication is a visual recollection of how art brings us together and allows our personalities to shine. Creative Connections was funded through a contract with Leeds Community Foundation to deliver a Time to Shine small funds project.
