Scott Smith is a professional photographer and visual artist living in southwestern Manitoba, Canada. In 2018 he obtained his BFA from the University of Manitoba with both photography and painting as his main focuses. He began taking an interest in photography as a creative medium in 2013, and since then has exhibited his work in art galleries nationwide. In 2018, Smith won Sunrise Credit Union’s “Our Manitoba Photo Contest” and his photography was featured on the cover of their 2019 calendars. His work has been recognized in newspapers, magazines, and news television stations across Manitoba. Smith’s photography has also been featured on Nikon’s social media pages.
