Two stories written in verse, each about a bear who has to deal with a challenge. In the first story, the challenge is insomnia, for which Alix the bear enlists the help of Santa. The second story is about the friendship that grows between a bear and the injured crow that he rescues. The author's charming text is complemented by dosankodebbie's illustrations in the style of etegami, a Japanese folk art that combines simple images with a few apt words on washi postcards.
