Acerca del libro
A collection of images taken by my grandfather, Mathew Carl Haddon. These images were taken in the 1950's and 1960's during his travels for work and pleasure. He was an aeronautical engineer and took his camera everywhere with him. His eye offers a poignant take on one person's perspective of life in the last century.

I am a photographer, fiber artist and costume maker. For the past 5 plus years I have been documenting the vast collection of vintage clothing and costume at Palace Costume in West Hollywood. I work with friends and dancers from Los Angeles and beyond to bring the clothing to life. Melody Barnett, the owner of Palace Costume, began collecting 50 years ago and opened her first store on Melrose Avenue. It is one of the largest vintage clothing collections in the world and is a wonderland, open only to costumers in the film and television industry. Every room is lovingly curated and organized according to era and color. It is a magical world in and of itself.
