This book presents a Photography Program designed by the Broken Hill Art Exchange Inc. The program brought ten professional photographers and artists together to work with clients from the Algate House Salvation Army - LISK Community Access and Day Program Service. The program was the art exchanges initial steps towards integrating art and health projects in Broken Hill. As a project supporting greater social integration, different community's that might not otherwise have occassion to meet were brought together. The program provided us with the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of each other.

I am the founder of the Broken Hill Art Exchange incorporated. The aim of the organisation is to support the progress of art and artists. The Art Exchange designs programs that enables collaborative projects to develop between different sectors (i.e. art, health, industry and education). The organisation operates an artists exchange and residency program to facilitate projects in Broken Hill and to assist artists wanting to produce work in the arid zone region of Australia.
