Rattling tuk-tuks, humid, hot air, crowded places, street vendors courting the tourists. Anyone who has ever been to Bangkok knows these scenes too well. The photographer Sebastian Gabriel shows the city and its people quite differently. On his journey, he photographs people in quite intimate and quiet moments. It sometimes seems almost as if the time for the protagonists stands still for a moment. The viewer receives an unusual and private insight into the Thai capital, which he may not have known before.
