Ed Lawrence has explored many visual arts media and always returned to photography for artistic expression. As a kid many hours were spent in a darkroom exploring the magic of developing film and making prints. Since that time he has used many types of cameras to explore the medium including Kodak Instamatics and Polaroid Land cameras. Currently digital photography provides the immediate gratification and opportunity for experimentation that has drawn Ed to photography throughout his life. Not a photographer's photographer, he coulod care less about the world of apertures, f-stops, ISOs and metering. Ed Lawrence just uses a camera to paint what he sees.
