East Meets Midwest II, A New Figuration is a show organized by eastern painters referred to as the East Coast Group and painters from the collective called the Midwest Paint Group. In 2010 the original East Meets Midwest: culminated at the College of William and Mary. Now we fittingly and fortunately open again with New Figuration at the College of William and Mary's Andrews gallery. This show is an expanded survey, now exhibiting twenty-eight artists. All share a distinct vicissitude for working in figuration. This show includes Landscapes, still-lifes, and abstracts alongside works of the human figure.
