Acerca del libro
The village of Ogunquit lies in the southeastern corner of York County in the southernmost part of the State of Maine. Derived from the Abenaki Indian name, it roughly translates to “beautiful place by the sea.”  Settled by the English in the late 1620’s, it was primarily a fishing village in its early days. It would soon become known, however, as a popular artist colony and tourist location.

With its three mile stretch of beach, picturesque fishing harbor, quaint shops, and the famed Marginal Way walking trail along the cliffs, Ogunquit has something to offer everyone. It continues to be a vibrant seasonal resort town, attracting visitors from all over the world.

I'm a New England-based photographer with a passion for creating and sharing my images. I have two main photographic interests - the beautiful landscapes and seascapes of New England, and the mills and factories that can be found near my home in northeastern Massachusetts. I try to always have my camera with me, and I really enjoy the contemplative nature of being out somewhere where my only company is my camera and tripod. I live just outside Boston with my wife and two boys, and am eternally grateful for their love and support as I continually feed my passion for photography. And despite my previous comment about being alone with my camera, the best days are the ones where my sons come with me on a shoot toting one of my old cameras.
