This is a collection of some of my favorite photographs taken over the past few years. Many of these photos are offered for sale at jmstonter.imagekind.com - and several are hung in our local art gallery.



In several instances, the same photo may be shown with different artistic effects - and the colors range from soft and subdued to bright and vibrant. I didn't attempt to sort by colors - but rather by categories.... 1) Flowers, Gardens and Trees, 2) Fur, Feathers, Wings and Scales, 3) Waterfalls, Rivers, Lakes and Oceans, 4) Mountains and Landscapes, 5) Barns, Cabins, Covered Bridge and Mills, 6) Table Rock Lake and The Kimberling City Bridge, and finally, 7) Winter Scenes.



Several photos fall into more than one category, and those photos are repeated. Not all of the photographs actually look like photographs. This is because I've applied various artistic touches - called filters - in my post processing. These filters definitely change the appearance. Sometimes the changes are subtle, used simply to further enhance the photograph; other times they are used to completely transform the photograph into a piece with watercolor, pastels, or other art-like appearances.
