My other half is a complete stranger. A being of my own personal extension and I have no idea who she is in her entirety. She leaves me notes of her visits. I find her documenting things that I do not fit my “go to” style of photography. During these times, it is I that takes the backseat, letting her drive on the forefront of my mind. Her photographs are the visual clues to my own subconscious. They speak more for themselves than I could ever wish to explain. Each image is one I never consciously remember making. Causation for my memory loss could be a multitude of things be it medication, and/or powerful emotional/mental states. These are the breadcrumbs that lead to a path of self understanding and reflection.
