This story is about Faith. About looking back. About seeing and recognizing the Faithfulness of God. Just as God worked in the lives of his people in the Old Testament, He is alive today and working in our lives. When we open the eyes of our HEARTS to see, we see Him. Many times in the Old Testament the children of Israel were instructed to build a stone alter for remembrance of God’s intervention in their lives. In Joshua, stones were erected to remind God’s people to look back and remember for the direct purpose of teaching their little ones about the faithfulness and power of God.
