Acerca del libro
The book contains reproductions of 36 paintings of baseball gloves by Florida painter Marc Johnson. Johnson worked on the paintings, enamel on masonite, each 2 feet high, between 2008 and 2009. An avid baseball fan, the artist has a fascination with the Chicago Cubs and is a season ticket holder for the High A Florida State League Daytona Tortugas, who play at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach, the stadium where Robinson broke baseball's color barrier on March 17, 1946.
