Wearable Matters took place for one evening on May 2nd, 2015, and featured work by local and international artists. It was housed in a warehouse in Williamsburg, a former airplane factory that currently hosts Immersive Gallery. Over the course of the night, a series of unexpected experiences arose, as artworks, performers, and audiences overlapped and pulled one another out of their respective comfort-zones. During the event, artists and incomers had the chance to both present and wear artworks.

Following the event of Wearable Matters, we asked the participating artists to answer some of our questions, and further engage into a dialogue with one another about the work they exhibited. Wearable Matters catalog is mainly the result of that & created by Natalia Roumelioti & Netta Sadovsky.
