This is Janne De Rijck (Mary Jane) 's 4th poetry book in English, holding 103 poems from the year 2015.
“We all need to break away from this ‘mad, war-infested globe’ from time and time and what better antidote than the poetry of Janne De Rijck? Her ‘inner globe’ is one of peace and serenity, with a wink to mythology. It sometimes reminds me of the poetry of William Butler Yeats and Rabindranath Tagore, and it is no coincidence that Ireland and India are two of her favourite traveling destinations. So, sit back and relax, no need to labour over intricate structures. This is, pure, intuitive poetry in which rivers, stars and rainbows offer you a ‘doorway to our next existence’ and in which the spark of divinity that lodges in each of us, can be felt. Quotes from ‘After Watching the World News’ and ‘the Straw in Barns’. “
