The mission of this project is to help children (ages 6–10) in the United States understand incurable diseases and the effects that they cause emotionally, mentally and physically. This way children will be able to adjust emotionally and exhibit effortful control over their reactions to the effects of incurable diseases. Once children understand those effects they will be more empathetic and accepting of the effects of the diseases upon those individuals.
