This book is a collection of digital photographs taken by my mom, Oh Nam Kyun between 2008 and 2009. The pictures show the four seasons of Korea, focusing on wild flowers. My mom was born in Korea in 1942 and currently lives in Korea with my father. She has four grown children, three living in Korea and one living in the U.S.A. In 2008, soon after her retirement, she picked up digital photography and learned to use computer and internet. Over the course of one year, she has been sending her pictures via emails to one of her daughters living away, which are now fruited as a book. Most of her adult life, my mom was taken by hard labor to make a living for the family, but has never lost her artistic mind and sensitive heart. This book is a celebration of her newly found freedom. Many more to follow...
