This books looks at a number of aspects of life in West Sumba in 2015. The photographs reflect people, places and activities that show the mix between the old society on a tropical island with what is confronting them in the twenty-first century. How will an animist-Christian funeral change ? How can the communities survive in the face of intensive tourism. Largely photographic the book raises questions for the enquiring mind.
