I worked as a professional photographer in the fields of commercial/industrial photography and ophthalmic photography for a total of forty years. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Professional Photography from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois (1976). I have published three books with the University of Iowa Press and another one with WDG Communications. I have published five books using Blurb. I am an honorably discharged Viet Nam Era veteran of the U.S. Army.
