Acerca del libro
Among the multiple problems inherent in suburban living is the severe disconnection between people and their food. People have to drive to get to the nearest grocery store to buy food that has traveled an average of 1500 miles to the store and is unhealthy and unsustainable. This thesis acts as a demonstration of the existing suburban condition versus community integration of local food through the design of a self-sustaining community master plan and a greenhouse-market hybrid.
