This body of work depicts the socio/political relationships with the land. In these series of images the loss of the land of Greek and Turkish Cypriots after the war is being explored. Importantly, the absence of life and movement in these areas that divide the island are prominent as well as the actual line that shows how war and politics have affected the land. The book, which is the final outcome of this project, also displays the landscape’s plight following the invasion since it had been left abandoned for four decades as no solution has been found yet. This work was an attempt to exhibit how the island's history is revealed through its landscape.
