In 1906 William and Martha Claus moved with their 3 children to Panama to begin a new adventure. They became part of group of a hardy, intrepid folks who worked hard to "make the dirt fly". When they returned home 10 years later, the Panama Canal was open for business. This story, written in 2015, opens a window on their Panama years and brings an honorable man out into the light.
