NY Diorama



New York is always an inspiration. Every time that I return, I instantly feel a connection between the city and me.



Just the city and me and sometimes, some other people.



I run through the streets and alleys with my camera and I always find a motive that I can apply my photographic eye to. New York has this special kind of light and grain, some sort of unusual visual appearance that fills the images with a certain cinematographic atmosphere.



I never felt this particularity in an other city. To intensify this ambiance, I always work with analogue gear when I return to New York.
