Take Me Home - tells the story of wonderful loving dogs that have passed the puppy stage and are still looking for a loving home. These dogs would like to speak on behalf of all the adult dogs in Dogs Trust to persuade and convince people who are looking to make room in their home for a dog, that adult and senior dogs are just as much fun and rewarding to be around as a puppy.
For this book I gathered an array of dogs with different traits, characteristics and personalities. Some of them have just passed the puppy stage, a few are well and truly adults and others are into their senior years and perhaps are looking for a more quiet home. Some dogs are enthusiastic and full of energy others more shy and reserved. Some may be great with kids and other pets while others prefer a more quiet environment.Whatever the type and character of the dog I believe there is a person who is well suited for every dog and perfect match can be made.
Regardless of breed, age or personality what I love about all the dogs that I met was their capacity for unconditional love and their capacity and willingness to adapt to people’s needs.
