Félicia Helena Ava Bolm was born on March 7th 1988 in Sweden,. At the age of sixteen, Félicia discovered photography. Since leaving home at 16, Felicia lived an expedient lifestyle, becoming a resident of Barcelona, Berlin and London before finally settling in Paris. Less than a year later, she lost her life in an apartment fire in Ménilmontant. She was 23 years old.

Within the last year of her life, Felicia, or 'Ava' as she was occasionally known, developed a strong body of work displaying her own, unique vision. At the time of her passing, she was celebrating being accepted to study photography at the Glasgow School of Art. She had presented the school with a portfolio of work which were mostly self-portraiture, an attempt to crystallise her moods and document the voyage of self-discovery upon which she'd embarked since leaving her native Sweden.
