Volume one of a three volume retrospective, The Community of Man is a collection of portraits taken all over the globe of real people living their authentic lives far from the view of tourists and conventional travelers. Schoenfeld is best known as a fine art photographer (images in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Contemporary Art - Seoul, The National Museum - Rome, County Art Collection - Santa Barbara, Cirque du Soleil) and a documentary photographer (10 books in print including the award winning "Almost Perfect') and director or four award documentary films including the full length feature "The Memory Box".
