Chat is a continuation and celebration of the cross-cultural artist exchange between Chiang Mai University (CMU), Faculty of Fine Art and the Australian National University (ANU), School of Art. From the early 1990s, artist/lecturers from each school have participated in a residency and artist exchange program where individuals, hosted by the other school, make work, exhibit and exchange ideas about art and teaching.
