Greenshoots is an indépendant Arts & Media education company. Our ethos is always to have a big showcase as a celebration event at the end of each project we deliver, whether it be a static exhibition, a staged performance, a fashion show, or a full length feature film. We believe doing this challenges young people to extend their experience, knowledge and skills and inspires them to reach the heights of their potential far more than sitting behind a desk and doing exams. Although our work revolves around the Arts in all forms, we believe that using the Arts to inform other curriculum areas provides young people with an exciting way of learning Literacy, Business, Numeracy etc. and creates confident, patient and erudite young people who are able to work as part of a team, are courageous, determined and motivated.
