Luang Prabang, Laos. I took the first boat to cross the river, to the other side of the Mekong. A path led me to Chomphet District, a popular district of Luang Prabang, far from all the tourist attractions and far from the fine restaurants of the other side. I sat in the middle of the village and took photographs for eleven minutes until my new friend and incredible cooker made me taste her culinary specialties.
