Acerca del libro
My photography book is focusing on the absence of my best friend. My best friend who on his own journey lost his way in the world of synthetic drugs. The addiction turned into a way of living and that way of living took him away from society. The images here are to acknowledge his absence, which is a screaming presence in my life. Every word written is his own giving a glimpse into the world he lived. From my eyes, I watched and lived his journey. I revisited every significant place in his life and presented it from my perspective. I relived heartbreaking moments and went back to places I never thought Id see again. He got a chance to tell his story and come to the realization of who he really is and what he has become. Collaborating on this series tore us apart and brought us closer together. It gives you a look into the absence of an incarcerated addict.
