Lincoln’s Playground, is a fun children’s book that promotes creativity and imagination. The protagonist to every illustration is newborn baby Lincoln. The inspiration for each illustration was inspired by Lincoln’s natural poses. The author/illustrator has removed the backgrounds on the original images of Lincoln and replaced it with a completely new illustrated environment. Each imaginative illustration has a corresponding short rhyming description. The author hopes to inspire creativity in your child by showing how much fun you can have with just a little bit of imagination. It is like a game of looking up at clouds and asking, “what do you see?” The possibilities are really endless given your imagination!
This book contains 12 original illustrations in all and is suggested for ages 0 – 6 years old.
The author Dean Van lives in the Pacific Northwest and has a background in Architecture and Product Design. This book is a culmination between his passion for all things design and his son.
