Acerca del libro
How do today's creative young minds experience the natural world? Discover how students from across BC, in Kindergarten to Grade 12, explore nature's imprints with camera-less photography, express their identity through animal symbolism, research local birds with puppet-making and theatre, communicate their concerns for the environment in their own short films, and more.
Botanimalogy: Expressions of Nature was an exhibition of young people's art at the ArtStarts Gallery in Vancouver, BC, Canada, from April 23 to August 31, 2013. This book documents the exhibition.
The ArtStarts Gallery is the first in Canada devoted exclusively to young people's art. Since the gallery opened in 2006, our exhibitions have celebrated the exciting artwork that emerges when students, educators and professional artists work together to deepen learning, creativity and community connections.
