Natural Scenes is a 10x8" softcover or hardcover book that features full color photographs as taken by Jayson Prentice. The book is nearly 40 pages of these photographs, with over 50 individual images including several panoramic views. The book is separated into two chapters, the first entitled 'Nature's Beauty' that shows photographs from the plains and the west; from prairie flowers, to the Grand Canyon, to small streams in Iowa. The second chapter is sure to grab your attention, entitled 'Nature's Fury' it shows off images of thunderstorms, lightning, and tornadoes! The book is great for a nature/weather lover, and is made for the coffee table for all to enjoy!

A full-time college student at Iowa State University, graduating in May 2009 with a degree in Meteorology and a minor in Geology. Jayson has gathered images of nature for over 10 years, just within the past couple of years coming into the limelight of digital SLR cameras and quickly has been known for his work with the power of nature, as well as her beauty. He has worked for newspapers covering sporting events; had photos published in calendars, magazines, and upcoming book(s). He spends much of his spring/summer awaiting the storms of the plains, traveling several thousands of miles during the year to capture the power that they have to offer. While only self-publishing one book thus far, there are sure plenty more to come as he continues to expand his collection of natural scenes.
