Irrigation lake is an important part of the fabric of the District of Houston. When the dam that raises the water level of the lake was condemned, the provincial government wanted the district to remove the dam by July 31, 2013. The students of Houston Christian School wanted to save the lake from the bulldozer and this project was the best way that they knew how.
