Davide Camisasca
Gressoney Saint Jean Aosta Italia
Was born in Milan in 1953 and he has been living in Gressoney-Saint-Jean (Ao) since 1972. He is a mountain guide and a well-known professional photographer who is a specialist in the theme of the mountain. He organised important personal exhibitions in Milan (1986 and 1992), in Geneva (1988), in London (1990), in Turin (1996), in Trento (1997), in Paris (2012) on several occasions, and in the Aosta-Valley (1987, 1993, 1995, 1997, 2002, 2007). He published photographic books about the Mont Blanc, the Gran Paradiso, the Great St Bernard and the Monte Rosa. In 1996, following his interest for the countries and the populations of the area around Himalaya’s chain, he printed Tibet, verso il Monte Kailas and Mustang il regno di Lo.
